Hey, where’d you get that yellow “Support our Troops” Ribbon?

Why PrintMyRibbon of course…you can customize the ribbon to say whatever you want. Not only that, but you can buy it on rolls of 100 yds so all your friends can get one too.

If they come on rolls, how do you make each one?

Instead of leaving you with 100 yards of ribbon printed with your special message, we at PrintMyRibbon, have decided to assemble a great How-To to take you step by step through the process of making your very own lapel ribbons.(Click Here for How-To)

How’d you know what color to get?

Great Question, checkout this page from Wikipedia, they already know everything, and ribbon colors and their meanings certainly fall under “everything”.

Ok, last question, where do I start?

Featured: Eco Friendly Labels

Corn is hot! Everything is being made from corn these days, and for good reason, it’s renewable. Most film label materials are made from an oil based product like poly-pro, or petroleum…until now! We are proud to announce that we have created a whole line of eco-friendly products. Labels are the beginning, but we also have bags recycled either from papers or plastic materials.

Let’s get together and make a difference, today.

Staying current with design is a fast moving target. What’s cool today can be outdated tomorrow. If you surf the web much, you may have noticed a lot of the same styles in the look of the graphics and layouts. One of these popular styles is the following:

As a way of saying “MerryChristmas“, I would like to show you all how to make this graphic using Adobe Photoshop. So Here it is…

1. Make a new Photoshop Image

(click on the images to see larger)

2. Using the font “Arial Rounded”, type your text in all lowercase letters. I’m going to use “pmtvoice” for this example. Make your text black for now, we’ll adjust the color later.

3. Goto the top menus and goto “Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options”. This will open up the Layer Style window.

4. In the Styles column along the left side of the window, select “Color Overlay”. Next, click on the color block in the area to the right (This should be black just like our text). Select the color you like, I have chosen a light blue for my button.

5. Next go to the “Outer Glow” Style. Modify the settings in this pane to reflect the image below.

6. Lastly, go to the ” Stroke” Style, and modify the settings to match the image below.

7. Your image should look like this one.

8. Goto the File Menu and first save your file as a Photoshop (psd) file and then save it as a (jpg) for the internet.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to post them in the comments section below. Have a Very Merry Christmas!

But Wait…That’s not All…You want the photoshop file? Well, Here you go…
